In the trio's music, plucked folk instruments used in Hungarian-speaking regions come together, showcasing an ancient element in their very way of being played—the act of striking a stretched string. The resonating strings transport us to an old world, where we can sense the unique soundscape of the music played by people living in small villages. The folk music repertoire, refined over centuries, merges with the personal musical world and character of the young 21st-century members. This fusion creates unique musical processes, where old melodies are reimagined with humility and attentiveness, elevated to the grand stages of concert halls, and made more accessible to their audience.

Alexandra’s carefully selected folk song lyrics carry a lifetime’s worth of meaning, exploring themes of celebration, love, sorrow, and femininity.

Bálint plays various types of tamburas, incorporating not only Hungarian but also South Slavic folk music elements into the repertoire. A special highlight of the concerts is when the oldest type of tambura, the samica, is introduced, complemented by Bálint’s singing voice.

Zalán plays the koboz, an essential instrument of the Moldavian Hungarian communities, the easternmost Hungarian-speaking region. His refined melodic play and precise accompaniment set the audience’s feet in motion, inviting them to dance.
